Collection: Wax Melts

A wax melt is a scented piece of wax that can be melted using an electric burner or a tealight heated burner to fill your home with fragrance.

Add the wax melts to your burner and switch on or light the tea light under the burner. Electric warmers take a little longer to warm up, due to the fact they do not use a direct flame. It is at your discretion how many wax melts you use in your burner, but please remember that when fully melted wax melts can overrun the burner if you use too many. Please think about the size of your burner when deciding to use more than one wax melt.

Each wax melt segment lasts around 10-15 hours before the scent reduces and disappears. When you can no longer smell the fragrance, this is time to change the wax melt.

Our recommended method to remove wax from your burner would be to light a tea light in your burner for around 30 seconds, or switch on your electric burner for around a minute. The bottom of the wax should have then loosed for you to slide this out with your fingers & dispose of, wipe away the waxy residue & use with a new wax melt.

Please do not be alarmed this is the scent releasing from the wax, the weaker the scent gets the less vapourthere will be. This may not always happen because all fragrance oils are different and weaker/stronger than others, but if this does happen, do not worry. You can always contact us if you are concerned.

Wax melts are much better than candles for a number of reasons. For a £20 high street candle, you get 1 scent and the candle is likely to produce black soot and other unwanted nasties. For £18 money you can get over 9 different scents with a total melt time of up to 720 hours!

We recommend switching to a fresh wax melt every 3-4 4 hour tea lights.

Wax melts do not come into contact with a naked flame so do not evaporate. Simply burn the same piece of wax until you no longer can smell the scent and dispose of the residual wax.

Once the fragrance has gone, we recommend switching your wax melt for a fresh one.
